Sam D. Wild is Director of Quality Control, Assurance and Audit Practice in Weinberg’s Los Angeles office. He has extensive experience working with both publicly traded and large privately-held companies. As a Partner with Ernst & Young, Sam was involved in numerous IPOs, follow-on and secondary offerings, as well as capital raises for privately held firms. Sam has significant experience with mergers and acquisitions and bankruptcy situations. At EY, he was recognized as an expert in SEC accounting and reporting. Following his tenure at EY, he joined Stonefield Josephson (now Marcum, LLP/Stonefield Josephson, Inc.), where he established the public company practice. At Marcum’s Los Angeles office, Sam was Senior Assurance Partner, Partner-in-Charge of accounting and auditing and was Partner-in-Charge of royalty and participation auditing. Sam began his career as Auditor General of Arizona where he was a senior auditor in charge of audits of state and county organizations, including community colleges and universities.
His industry expertise spans entertainment, high tech, biotech, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, real estate, retail and wholesale and development stage companies, and a variety of service industries.
Sam earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arizona State University, a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University, and he completed the Executive Management Program at Northwestern University. Sam is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in California and Florida.
